Complete Insect based recipes are packed to the brim of nutrients, in fact Insects have double the amount of protein as Beef, +15% more iron than spinach and as much B12 as Salmon!

From a sustainable point of view, insects require less land resources, emit fewer greenhouse gases and have a much smaller water demand than livestock and animal substitutes such as corn and soya. The petfood market is being heavily challenged to support the WORLDS need for a sustainable pet food alternative and insect-based recipes certainly tick the boxes whilst offering incredibly nutritious yet tasty meals.

Bag Sizes

Our bags of natural dog food is available in either 2kg or 12kg eco-friendly bags to meet the need of all dog parents. Each pack of Nala & Friends has an 18 month shelf life, which gives your canine plenty of time to enjoy their favourite meal.

Kibble Size

The size and shape of our kibbles has been optimised for adult dogs, and paired with a crunchy texture for maximum enjoyment.

Insect meal, quinoa, sweet potato, pea starch, peas, lentils, oats, chickpeas, minerals, hydrolysed vegetables, brewer’s yeast, insect oil, seaweed, mixed herbs (thyme, parsley, sage, marjoram, oregano, rosemary), algae, FOS, cranberry powder, glucosamine (125mg/kg), chondroitin sulphate (50mg/kg).

Vitamins: Vitamin A (Retinyl-acetate) 25,000 IU, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 1,800 IU, Vitamin E (all rac-alpha tocopherol acetate) 245 IU.

Zinc (as Zinc chelate of protein hydrolysates) 50 mg, Zinc (as Zinc sulphate monohydrate) 70 mg, Manganese (as Manganese sulphate monohydrate) 25 mg, Iron (as Iron (II) sulphate monohydrate) 30 mg, Copper (as Copper (II) sulphate pentahydrate) 10 mg, Iodine (as Calcium iodate anhydrous) 1.56 mg, Selenium (as Organic Selenium 3b8.10) 0.2 mg.

Our Feeding Guidelines

The guidelines we’ve provided are just a suggested serving size. We know all dogs are different and we advise dog parents to take into account the breed, age, temperament and activity level of their pet when portioning each meal.

 

We also recommend introducing new recipes gradually over a period of two weeks when changing foods, and always ensuring your canine has access to fresh, clean water.
