Nala the Whippet and the Search for Suitable Food
Shortly after Nala the whippet joined our family we noticed that her delicate stomach couldn’t handle dog food containing high quantities of grain or artificial additives. After trialling a variety of foods and doing extensive research, we found a gap in the market for affordable dry food that is fresh, nutritious and a range of diets to suit all our needs.
That’s what inspired us to make our own food, both for Nala and the many other dogs with sensitive tummies. We teamed up with industry experts and created a range of balanced, premium dog food high in protein, vitamins & minerals made right here in Wales, UK!
Nala & friends combines sumptuous taste with Omega 3 and a bunch of prebiotics, which encourage the healthy lifestyle of your dog, keeping their skin supple and their coat shiny. All the recipes in our range are made using locally sourced, freshly prepared meats which we’ve preserved with Rosemary extract to ensure our pup and her friends get only the best meals.

What makes the Nala & Friends range of dog food premium?
We use 100% British proteins and only the highest quality products to create our natural dog food, then coat it with natural extracts to naturally preserve the freshness and flavours of every pack. That’s right – you won’t find artificial flavours, colouring or preservatives in our meals!
We keep all these natural ingredients chilled during transportation to make sure they stay fresh and nutritious, then bake each batch at a lower temperature and use state-of-the-art technology to dry coat it. Craft in every step, from the food to the pack
Creating the art on the pack was another labour of love which we undertook with the same enthusiasm as creating the food itself. Teaming up with our fabulous artist Rohanna Aston, crafted stunning visuals which perfectly reflect who Nala & Friends are, capturing the playful spirit of our beloved whippet and the joy we hope our dog food brings to all canines.

Meet the Family
Most who know us, know us as the Burgers! We live in Cardiff, Wales and have been together for a little 15 years now. We are quite the pack, you have hoomans Lee & Katie and our little 2 year old daughter Tilly, we are joined by our furry friends Nala (whippet), Coco & Bambi (Siamese cats). Nala thinks she’s rules the roost but reality is she’s a big whimp and Coco takes the Boss role. Tilly is certainly making her presence be known and fair to say both Mum & Dad find themselves at the bottom!
We have many passions ranging from Cheer dance, long walks, socialising and running.
